Geospatial data have become increasingly common in nearly every discipline, from natural resources to urban planning, archaeology to military tactics, engineering to epidemiology, politics to environmental justice, and more. In this workshop you will learn how to better handle, analyze and visualize spatial data using R, a popular programming language.
This workshop series is designed for researchers at any level that have a basic understanding of R and RStudio.
Day 1: Introduction to spatial data formats (vector and raster) and importing, cleaning, and manipulating spatial data
Day 2: Spatial analysis and basic plotting
Day 3: Spatial data visualization (static and interactive) and data sharing

A laptop (We’ll have loaner laptops available, too.)
