Workshop: Collecting data with FieldMaps In-Person
ArcGIS Field Maps is one of the most common applications used to collect data in the field, using smart devices like a tablet or mobile phone. In this free workshop, we’ll show you how the app works, how to collect data, and de-construct what we use to build your own app.
Attendees can make use of their own ArcGIS Online account, or the Centroid can provide guest accounts for you.
Bring a smart phone or tablet if you have one, but we will have 3 tablets to borrow if needed.
Details and registration forthcoming, but mark your calendars!
Tentative topics to be covered:
- Using a pre-made map and layers to collect data in ArcGIS Field Maps
- Options for collecting field data using GPS and smart devices
- What is ArcGIS Field Maps, and how do you set up a map and layers?
