The National Spatial Reference System: The Common Foundation of Surveying and GIS

The National Spatial Reference System: The Common Foundation of Surveying and GIS In-Person / Online

About This Event

How much do you know about coordinate systems, datums, and reference systems? How do we measure the earth accurately, to create accurate coordinate locations? There's a lot more to it than you may realize!

In this Geospatial Centroid Seminar, learn about these important geospatial topics from expert Brian Shaw of NOAA's National Geodetic Survey (NGS). There's also a new datum coming our way - NATRF2022, which has much better coordinate accuracy than previous options.

Snacks provided.
