Poster Exhibit: CIIPE In-Person
About This Event
The biennial Colorado International Invitational Poster Exhibition (CIIPE) is a collection of the world’s most distinguished poster artists and designers. CIIPE was co-founded in 1979 by CSU faculty and designers Phil Risbeck, John Sorbie, and Northern Colorado artist Bob Coonts.
The main exhibition is hung in the Curfman Gallery, the Hatton Gallery, and Morgan Library on the CSU Campus. The CIIPE Honor Laureate exhibition is held at the Gregory Allicar Museum of Art.
The library exhibit is on display on the first floor of Morgan Library from September 13 through November 4, 2024.
CIIPE is one of only a few international invitational poster exhibitions worldwide. This popular event allows campus and Northern Colorado communities to experience firsthand the best the poster world offers.
CIIPE’s entire poster collection is available for students and faculty in the Library Archives and Special Collections. It is a unique educational resource, allowing graphic design and art majors to work directly with designers, study the work closely with current CSU graphic design faculty, and gain valuable career experience.
