Explore GIS: Integrating Computer and Geospatial Sciences for a Winning Career

Explore GIS: Integrating Computer and Geospatial Sciences for a Winning Career

About This Event

In this seminar, learn how augmenting your geospatial science education with computer science, or vice-versa, can be a winning combination for a successful career.

We'll have a presentation and conversation with two of IQGeo's lead software engineers, Eben Dennis and Michael Tafel, about their education, career path, and skills that have helped get them where they are today. We'll also talk a little about the IQGeo platform, to get a sense of the kind of mapping and data management they write code for, and take a peek into the geodev world that we don't cover much in CSU's GIS classes.

If you've been wondering if coding is good for you to learn, (it is), this seminar may help you decide.
