Develop a Systematic Search Design (Evidence Synthesis Series)

Develop a Systematic Search Design (Evidence Synthesis Series) Online

About This Event

Systematic reviews, scoping reviews and even comprehensive narrative literature reviews require far more extensive practices for designing database searches than what you may be familiar with. In this session, we will look at the major components of a comprehensive and systematic search design, the special requirements for systematic and scoping review searches, and highlight some tips and tools to get you started on the right path!

NOTE: This session is not interactive other than time for Q&A and does not focus on any specific databases. Request personal research assistance from CSU Libraries to arrange a one-on-one session related to your specific project and search needs.

Learn how to:

  • Identify the essential components of a comprehensive search design
  • Recognize special requirements and practices essential to search design for systematic or scoping reviews
  • Use tools, tricks and templates to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of you comprehensive search design process

Register for one or all of the Evidence Synthesis Workshop Series, occurring at 12pm on Tuesdays from February 4th – March 4th, 2025.
