GIS Career Afternoon In-Person / Online
About This Event
GIS professionals from many sectors (local government, engineering, heath, and research) will be on hand to connect with students and share career advice and guidance.
This event will include brief presentations, casual discussions, and snacks! Come explore career options that utilize geospatial technologies and bring your resume to participate in our resume swap at 3:00 pm.
Below is the event schedule:
1:00 – 1:30 pm Refreshments / Mapping Activity
1:30 – 2:30 Intro to the GIS Professionals (Hybrid, 3-5 minutes per professional, meeting link)
2:30 – 3:00 Open discussion
3:00 – 3:30 Resume Swap
3:30 – 4:00 Closing remarks and networking time!
