Tips for Keeping Your Files Organized [Half-Hour Hacks] Online
Think about the last digital file you saved. Where did you save it, and what did you name it? Will you be able to find it again three months from now?
Effective file management can be challenging, but with a few small tips, you can make big improvements, whether you’re keeping track of files for daily work, research, or your personal life.
This session will cover effective file management practices including:
- file naming conventions
- how to create useful folder structures
- version control and documentation
