Is There a Dataset for That? Finding and Evaluating Data Sources (Half-Hour Hacks) Online
With more research data being shared to support open science practices, the data you need to address your research question might already be available. But how do you decide where to look for existing data, and how do you know if a dataset is appropriate for reuse?
In this workshop, you will learn about:
- Strategies and resources for finding data about a variety of topics
- Factors to consider when evaluating datasets for reuse
- How to cite data sources
