AI Dialogues: "AI and Computer Engineering: Bridging Discovery and Learning" (Hybrid) In-Person / Online
Please join us online or in person for a discussion with Sudeep Pasricha (Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Aram and Helga Budak Endowed Professor): The accelerating pace of artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping the landscape of computer engineering education and research.
This talk will examine the dual role of AI as both a tool for discovery that is enabling breakthroughs in everyday smart and connected applications, as well as in engineering better computer systems, and as a catalyst for rethinking pedagogical models of learning. Sudeep Pasricha will discuss some of the cutting-edge AI-driven research ongoing in the computer engineering area at Colorado State University. This research is leading to new discoveries together with various industry and federal agency partners, including HP Enterprise, Air Force, DoD, NSF, Curley Enterprise LLC, and others. Dr. Pasricha will also discuss the challenges that AI has introduced into teaching and curricula design at Colorado State University.
In person event, in the Morgan Library, Room 173
