Art in the Archives In-Person
The Art in the Archives series uses ekphrastic writing to explore our connection to the world through art and objects. Archives can offer a rich, often unexpected source of creative inspiration.
During this 45-minute session, participants will explore items from the CSU Archives & Special Collections and engage in two writing styles—one more scientific in methodology, the other more artistic—before moving into a free-writing session. This structured process helps students sharpen their observational skills and develop their voice through flash literature.
