Coding for Beginners: Software Carpentry with R Online
Join us for a three-day Software Carpentry R workshop, taking place August 10-12 from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm Mountain Standard Time (UTC-7). Designed to be interactive rather than lecture-based, Carpentries workshops emphasize active participation, with lessons that build progressively. Please note that the workshop is designed to be interactive and will not be recorded. Participants must attend in real time, as these sessions will not be recorded.
This beginner-friendly Software Carpentry workshop covers Shell, Git, and R. To make the most of the workshop, learners should be comfortable with files and directories, working directories, and starting an R interpreter.
Each session combines short tutorials with hands-on exercises, encouraging collaboration and real-world application of skills to your own work.
Participants must use a laptop or desktop (not a tablet) with administrative privileges to fully engage in the workshop activities.
